Course Description
The race kicks off with a swim in the calm, protected waters of Moreton Bay, giving athletes a safe and picturesque start. After the swim, participants transition onto the road and power across the iconic Ted Smout Bridge, a straight, fast‑flowing bike leg. The finish is a flat, coastal run along Pelican Park’s foreshore, offering sea‑breeze views of the bay. Courses are mixed – water, sealed road and paved promenade – with gentle gradients, making it fast yet enjoyable for all skill levels. Spectators line the waterfront, creating a lively, supportive atmosphere.
