Course Description

The race starts at Blue Water Quay, the bustling waterfront precinct of Mackay. Runners head out on a flat, paved loop along the Pioneer River, enjoying views of the harbour and city skyline. After the first run leg, athletes transition to a smooth, mostly road bike course that follows the coastal promenade and returns to the quay for the final run. The course is entirely on road with minimal elevation, making it fast and accessible while still offering the scenic backdrop of Mackay’s riverfront and harbour. Transition areas are set up at the quay with clear signage for solo or team entries.
