Event Details
Course Description
The race takes place on the trails surrounding Wyaralong Dam in South‑East Queensland. Runners follow a purpose‑built loop that showcases the dam’s water edge, native bushland and gentle undulating terrain. Both the short (8.9 km) and long (13.9 km) courses feature a mix of easy forest paths, open grass sections and a few technical bits that test footing without being overly demanding. The route is well‑marked, offers plenty of natural scenery and provides a rewarding finish back at the start‑line gathering area.

How do I register for the race?
Register online via the SEQ Trail Running Series website. The short course costs $69 and the long course $79 (online price). Entry fees are frozen for Season 14. If you need to change distances or transfer your entry, see the Entry Transfers page – a $10 admin fee applies for a short‑to‑long switch.
What time should I arrive on race day?
Bib collection opens at 5:30 am and closes at 6:10 am. A race briefing starts at 6:20 am, with the wave start at 6:30 am. Arriving early gives you time to collect your bib and warm up.
What gear is required?
Trail running shoes are recommended for better traction, though any shoes are allowed. Bring at least 500 ml of water, as water is only provided at the finish. Music is discouraged to keep you aware of marshals and fellow runners.
