Course Description

All five races start and finish at Nelson Bay Foreshore Reserve, with the marathon covering three out‑and‑back laps, the half‑marathon one‑and‑half laps and the shorter distances a single lap. The route weaves along the sparkling waterfront, passes shaded forest trails and includes gentle climbs that reward you with panoramic ocean views. Aid stations are positioned at Nelson Bay Beach, Little Beach Reserve, Bagnall Beach Reserve and Conroy Park, providing water, electrolytes and snacks. The mixed terrain of paved roads and light trail sections makes the course both fast and visually stunning.
