Quick Facts
Getting There
The race starts at the Sydney Harbour Bridge with multiple start locations depending on your distance. Public transport is highly recommended, with trains, buses, and ferries providing excellent access to the CBD and harbour areas. Road closures will be in place throughout the course. Arrive at least 60-90 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for security checks, bag drop, and warm-up. Parking in the CBD will be extremely limited on race day.
Weather & What to Pack
Late August in Sydney typically offers cool to mild running conditions, with average temperatures ranging from 9-18°C. Expect partly cloudy skies with a chance of morning showers. Humidity is usually moderate at 60-70%. Early morning starts can be quite cool, so layer up for the wait at the start line with disposable clothing you can shed. Despite the cooler temperatures, maintain regular hydration throughout the race. Sun protection is recommended as UV levels can still be moderate even on cloudy days.
