Course Description

The race takes place on a 1.5 km loop that winds through the Australian War Memorial precinct and its Sculpture Garden. The course is paved and partially lit by streetlamps, with headlamps supplied for night running. Runners will experience reflective surfaces, historic monuments and tranquil water features, providing a scenic backdrop for an overnight relay. One team member must be on the course at all times, but teams can choose any rotation strategy—solo laps, pairs or frequent switches—making the challenge both strategic and flexible. Course volunteers, hydration stations and a Runners' Hub keep participants fuelled and connected throughout the night.
