About This Event

A 26km charity walk/run through Sydney's Hills District, raising funds for The Jeremiah Project's homeless ministry. Starting at Roxborough Park, Baulkham Hills, with a pit stop at Rouse Hill and a sausage sizzle finish at The Bunker.

Course Description

Starting at Roxborough Park in Baulkham Hills at 7am, participants journey 26 kilometres through Sydney's north-west Hills District. The route is accessible to walkers, joggers, and runners alike, with a welcome refreshment and rest stop at Rouse Hill Town Centre at roughly the halfway point. The course continues to The Bunker, the finish line where a celebratory sausage sizzle awaits. A support bus with an onboard first aid officer accompanies the group throughout, ensuring everyone can complete the journey at their own pace. This is a community adventure, not a race — the priority is showing up and supporting a great cause.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to run the whole 26km, or can I walk?

Absolutely not — walking, jogging, running, or any combination is encouraged. The Hope Run is a community event, not a race, and participants are welcome to complete the 26km at whatever pace suits them.

What does the $79 registration donation cover?

Your $79 donation covers food and drinks along the course (including the refreshment stop at Rouse Hill Town Centre and the post-event sausage sizzle), as well as a Hi-Vis safety vest. All funds raised go directly to The Jeremiah Project's future projects.

Is there support along the route if I need to stop?

Yes. A support bus with a first aid officer accompanies participants throughout the entire 26km route. If you need assistance or need to stop early, the bus is there to help.

Who is The Jeremiah Project?

The Jeremiah Project is a Sydney-based homeless ministry that provides outreach, meals, and compassionate support to people in need. The organisation is a registered DGR charity, meaning your participation donation is tax-deductible.

What should I bring on the day?

Wear comfortable walking or running shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. A Hi-Vis vest will be provided. Bring a water bottle for the journey, sun protection (hat and sunscreen), and a small amount of cash or card in case you need anything at Rouse Hill Town Centre.
