Course Description

The 35 km course begins at Malabar Beach, where runners follow a coastal path that weaves through the Botany Bay shoreline, offering sea breezes and occasional sand sections. Mid‑way the route turns inland, joining quiet residential streets and parkland trails before heading north‑west into the heart of Sydney. The final kilometre brings participants across iconic harbour bridges and into the historic precinct of The Rocks, finishing at Hickson Road Reserve with stunning harbour views. Expect a mix of sealed roads, boardwalks and light trail, with gentle hills and plenty of scenic photo‑ops along the way.

Getting There

The start line is at Malabar Beach, accessible via Malabar Road (A6). Limited street parking is available near the beach; arrive early to secure a spot. Public transport options include a train to Central Station followed by a bus (routes 422/423) to Malabar. Plan to arrive at least one hour before the start to allow time for registration and warm‑up.
