Course Description
The WC Summit starts at Wandi Oval, climbs the steep ‘Goat Track’ to Mystic Mountain, then descends via single‑track with rope sections before returning to the oval. WC Traverse traverses both sides of the valley, summiting Mystic and Goldmine Ridge, with technical descents and a final run along Morses Creek to Alpine Park. WC Xtreme is a 26.3 km single‑track adventure featuring four ridge‑line ascents, rocky escarpments, fern‑lined spurs and the iconic Goat Track. The Kids Run offers a gentle 2 km loop from Alpine Park, introducing young runners to mountain terrain. All courses are well marked, with aid stations at key checkpoints.

Weather & What to Pack
June is winter in Australia, so expect cool alpine conditions. Average daytime temperatures in Wandiligong range from 5‑12 °C, with possible frosts early morning and occasional snow on higher ground. Light rain is common, so bring a wind‑proof jacket, thermal layers, gloves and a hat. Hydration is still important – carry a water bottle or flask even in the cold.
