Getting There

The event is based in the Numinbah Valley, approximately 45 minutes from the Gold Coast. Detailed directions will be provided upon registration. Arrive early to allow time for parking, kit check, and pre-race preparations. The valley location offers limited mobile reception, so download directions beforehand. Carpooling is encouraged due to the rural setting and environmental focus of the event.

Weather & What to Pack

Late May in Queensland's hinterland typically offers ideal running conditions with temperatures ranging from 10-20°C. Expect cool morning starts with potential for fog in the valley, warming to pleasant mid-morning temperatures. The subtropical location means humidity can be moderate, and occasional showers are possible. Pack layers for the cool start, wear trail shoes with good grip for potentially damp conditions, and bring adequate hydration despite the cooler temperatures. Sun protection is essential as cloud cover can be variable.
