Weather & What to Pack

Late May in Bargara typically brings mild, pleasant conditions perfect for running. Expect temperatures ranging from 12-23°C, with comfortable humidity levels as winter approaches. Mornings can be crisp, so bring a light layer for the 6:00 AM start that you can discard. The coastal location means occasional breezes, which can be refreshing during longer distances. Pack sunscreen and a hat, as Queensland sun remains strong even in winter months. Hydration is essential - utilise aid stations throughout the course and bring your own water bottle for pre-race preparation.
