About This Event
Coffs Backyard Ultra is a last-person-standing endurance race. Runners complete a 6.7km loop every hour until only one remains. The course follows Coffs Creek Walkway with 80% shaded flat gravel paths and 20% boardwalks. ,000 cash prize for last male and female standing.
Course Description
The Coffs Backyard Ultra follows a unique 6.706km loop that begins with an 800m circuit around the wide showground grounds before transitioning to the scenic Coffs Creek Walkway for 5.906km. The course surface is predominantly flat gravel paths (80%) providing excellent footing, with boardwalk sections (20%) adding variety. Runners enjoy substantial shade coverage throughout most of the route, making this an ideal course for the last-person-standing format. The loop offers minimal elevation change, allowing you to focus on pacing and endurance rather than technical terrain. Each yard must be completed within the hour before the next one begins, creating a test of mental fortitude as much as physical endurance.
