Specific race headquarters and transition area locations will be provided to registered teams closer to race day. Plan to arrive well in advance for race briefings and mandatory gear checks. Support crews will need vehicle access for multiple transition points throughout the course. Check the official website for detailed logistics and recommended accommodation options for teams and support crew.

Weather & What to Pack

Early June in coastal NSW brings mild winter conditions with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 12-19°C, dropping to 5-10°C overnight. Teams should prepare for cool temperatures during night stages, with potential for rain, fog, and strong coastal winds. Pack multiple layers including waterproof outerwear, thermal base layers, and warm gear for transition areas. Hydration remains critical despite cooler temperatures. The 48-hour format means racing through two full night-day cycles, so prepare lighting systems and warm sleeping gear if planning rest stops. Check weather forecasts leading up to race weekend for specific conditions.
