Weather & What to Pack

May in Central Queensland offers ideal running conditions with mild temperatures and low humidity. Expect daytime temperatures between 12-24°C, with cool mornings that warm up as the day progresses. This Mother's Day weekend timing typically provides clear skies and minimal rainfall. The highland location can be breezy, so wear layers you can shed during the run. Bring sunscreen as UV levels remain moderate, and pack a light jacket for post-race. Hydration is essential on the longer distances despite the cooler conditions.
