Weather & What to Pack

May on Victoria's Surf Coast brings mild autumn conditions with average temperatures ranging from 10-17°C. Expect partly cloudy skies with possible morning fog along the coast. Light rain showers are possible, so pack waterproof layers. The coastal location means wind can be a factor, particularly on exposed clifftop sections. Mornings start cool, warming through the day. Dress in moisture-wicking layers that can be adjusted, wear sun protection despite cooler temperatures, and carry adequate hydration for the long distance. Sturdy waterproof walking shoes are essential for varied terrain.
