Weather & What to Pack
October in Perth typically offers ideal running conditions with mild temperatures. Expect morning temperatures between 11-15°C at the 6:00 AM start, warming to 18-23°C as the day progresses. The weather is generally dry with low humidity and clear skies, though occasional spring showers are possible. Perth's strong morning sun can appear by mid-race, so sunscreen and a cap are recommended. The mild conditions make hydration crucial but manageable. Light, breathable running gear is ideal, with layers you can remove after warming up. October's pleasant weather contributes to fast finishing times.
