About This Event

The Revo Fitness Fremantle Running Festival on 8 Nov 2026 offers a vibrant community race at The Esplanade Reserve. Choose from a Half Marathon, 10km, 5km or a free 300m kids dash, plus a team‑based Half Marathon Relay. All proceeds support Operation Sunshine.

Course Description

Runners start on the historic Esplanade Reserve, heading along Fremantle's waterfront promenade with views of the Swan River and the bustling harbour. The 5km and 10km loops weave through heritage streets, passing the iconic Roundhouse and bustling market precincts before returning to the start. The Half Marathon follows the same scenic route twice, offering a mix of flat coastal sections and gentle undulations through leafy suburbs. The Relay splits the half‑marathon distance into a 10.1km leg and two 5.5km legs, letting teams share the experience. Well‑marked roads and ample water stations keep the race smooth and enjoyable.

November is spring in Australia, bringing pleasant daytime highs around 23 °C and cool evenings near 14 °C in Fremantle. Expect mild humidity and plenty of sunshine, though a light breeze off the harbour is common. Dress in breathable layers – a short‑sleeve shirt with a light jacket or vest for early morning chill, and wear a hat and sunscreen. Stay hydrated, but you won’t need heavy sweating gear.
