Course Description

The course circles The Tan, a sealed 3.8 km loop winding through the lush Royal Botanic Gardens. Mostly flat and tree‑shaded, the route offers a scenic backdrop of native flora and historic monuments. The only real challenge is the famed Anderson Street hill, tackled twice in the Pride Classic, with motivating music at the summit. Chip‑timing ensures accurate results, and the finish line is set in the lively Pride Run Village where participants celebrate together. Whether you sprint, jog, or stroll, the loop provides a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all abilities.

Getting There

The Tan is located within the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. The nearest tram stop is Route 17 at the Police Memorial on St Kilda Road. For detailed parking, bus routes or train options, please visit the official event website.
