The new start/finish location is at Serpentine National Park with parking available on site. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled race start to collect your bib and attend the mandatory pre-race briefing held 10 minutes before each wave start. Public transport options are limited, so car pooling is recommended.

Weather & What to Pack

Late July in the Perth Hills brings cool winter conditions with average temperatures ranging from 8-18°C. Morning starts can be particularly crisp, with potential for morning mist through the forest. The region typically sees moderate rainfall during winter months, so be prepared for potentially wet and muddy trail conditions. Dress in layers that you can remove as you warm up during the run. The tree canopy provides shelter from wind, but waterproof trail shoes with good grip are essential. Pack a warm jacket for post-race and bring plenty of hydration despite the cooler temperatures.
