Course Description
The Bunbury 3 Waters Running Festival showcases the stunning natural beauty of Western Australia's southwest through a unique course that circles all three waterways hugging Bunbury's CBD. Runners will experience breathtaking scenic views of the Leschenault Inlet, Koombana Bay, and the Indian Ocean whilst traversing well-maintained paths. The marathon and half marathon courses include a memorable section through the Bunbury Big Swamp Nature Reserve, offering a diverse natural environment alongside the spectacular coastal vistas. Starting from Bunbury Recreation Ground on Ocean Drive, the flat to gently undulating courses are predominantly road-based, making them ideal for achieving personal bests whilst soaking in the picturesque waterfront surroundings that make this 44-year-old event truly special.

The race starts at Bunbury Recreation Ground, 1 Ocean Drive, Bunbury. The venue is easily accessible via Bussell Highway, with parking available at the Bunbury Runners Club and surrounding areas near the waterfront. Bunbury is approximately 175km south of Perth, about a two-hour drive. Plan to arrive early on race morning - marathon runners should arrive by 6:00 AM, with bib collection available from 5:00 AM onwards. Pre-event bib pickup is available on Saturday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM to avoid race morning queues.
