The 5K Foam Fest course winds through Wandin Park Estate’s mixed terrain of grass, dirt paths and paved sections, marked with bright race tape and arrow signs. Runners encounter over 25 whimsical obstacles – from foamy start hurdles and foam walls to slip‑n‑slides, mud pits and the towering Mega Slide – all drenched in 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. Hydration stations and portable toilets are spaced along the route, and all obstacles are optional, allowing participants to walk, run or charge at their own pace. The average finish time is between one and one‑and‑a‑half hours, with a festive finish zone offering medals, photos and a post‑run shower.
