Weather & What to Pack
Mid-December in Sydney typically brings warm summer conditions with temperatures ranging from 19-27°C. Expect humid conditions with strong UV, so apply sunscreen before the race. Morning starts at 6:30am mean cooler temperatures initially, but it will warm quickly. The coastal location at North Head may bring sea breezes which help with cooling. Pack a hat and sunglasses for post-race. Hydration is critical in summer racing - drink well in the days before and take advantage of aid stations. Check the forecast for potential summer storms.
