Course Description

The Darlington Half Marathon and 8km follow the scenic Heritage Trail through the Perth Hills. Both courses traverse a mostly gravel trail with a gentle incline towards the turnaround point, before treating runners to a flowing downhill finish back to Pine Terrace. The half marathon features approximately 272 metres of elevation gain, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience through this historic area. The trail is open and well-maintained, with water stations positioned along the route. Runners are encouraged to carry their own hydration due to the distance between stations. The supportive atmosphere and beautiful bushland setting make this a memorable race for both seasoned runners and first-timers.
