Gravel bike routes range from a family‑friendly 10km loop to a demanding 150km ultra‑distance, featuring rolling hills, open plains and well‑marked aid stations at key checkpoints (e.g., 72.5km and 106.5km on the 150km ride). Trail runs follow similar gravel tracks, with a 5km walk/run for beginners, a 10km run, a 21.1km half marathon and a full 42.2km marathon that showcase rugged scenery and gentle elevation changes. Weather & What to Pack
July is winter in Western Australia, bringing cool to cold conditions in the Wheatbelt. Expect daytime highs of 5‑15 °C with occasional light rain and clear, crisp mornings. Dress in layers – a moisture‑wicking base, insulating mid‑layer and wind‑proof outer jacket – and wear a hat or buff for extra warmth. Hydration remains important despite cooler temps, so carry water and consider a warm drink at aid stations.
