Course Description
The Freo Ocean Classic Run‑Swim‑Run takes you along Leighton Beach’s golden sands, then onto the scenic coastal path and back onto the surf‑protected waters. Participants start with a beach run (1 km or 2 km), dive into a 500 m‑2 km open‑water swim, and finish with another beach run. The mixed terrain offers soft sand, paved pathways and calm ocean conditions, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean and Fremantle skyline. The course is clearly marked, with safety crews and surf‑lifesavers on hand, making it both challenging and enjoyable for all fitness levels.
