Course Description

The Dash takes place on a single 500‑metre closed street circuit on Oxford Street, Leederville. The loop is flat, sealed and fast, offering a smooth road surface for quick turnover at each change‑over. Each team of four (two women, two men) runs eight legs – each runner completes two 500‑metre laps – totalling 4 km per team. The compact course creates a stadium‑like atmosphere with spectators lining the street, and the short, repeatable legs make it easy to gauge effort and plan tactics. Heat races, semi‑finals and a final are all run on the same loop in one afternoon, delivering an energetic urban racing experience.

Getting There

The Dash will be held on Oxford Street in the suburb of Leederville, Perth. For parking, public transport options and exact arrival recommendations, please visit the official website or contact the organisers. Arriving early on race day is advised to allow time for registration and warm‑up.
