Course Description

All distances start and finish at Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton, on largely flat, sealed paths with grass at the start and finish of the longer races. The Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km are AIMS certified and run on Sunday 15 August. The Marathon is two laps incorporating the Kialla Lakes loop and a Causeway crossing, with about 135m of ascent between 113m and 123m above sea level. The Half Marathon covers the riverside trails, the Kialla Lakes loop and the Causeway with 70m of climbing, while the 10km adds the suspension bridge and a tree-lined out-and-back for 36m. The Saturday 5km (23m ascent) and Family 2km are flat, easy laps suited to first-timers. Water stations are spaced every few kilometres on the longer courses; the 5km and 2km have none.
