Course Description
The Perth course will start and finish near Burswood Park, weaving through the inner‑city streets of Burswood and the Swan River foreshore. Expect a predominantly flat, road‑based route that showcases the riverfront, the skyline and iconic Perth landmarks. Water stations will be provided at least twice on the 7 km loop, and the course is designed to be accessible for both runners and walkers. Exact route details and on‑course facilities are still being finalised, so check the official site for updates as the event approaches.
Getting There
The event is based at Burswood Park in the suburb of Burswood, directly opposite Perth's CBD across the Swan River. Parking and public transport options are provided by the venue; please refer to the official event website for detailed directions, parking costs and recommended bus or train services. Arrive early to collect your bib and timing chip from the race precinct starting at 6:00 am.

Weather & What to Pack
June is winter in Western Australia, so expect cool temperatures ranging from about 5 °C to 15 °C with a chance of light rain. Morning conditions can be crisp, so dress in layers and wear a wind‑proof jacket that you can remove as you warm up. A hat and gloves are optional but useful for early starters. Stay hydrated even in cooler weather and consider a warm drink before the race.

When can I collect my race bib and timing chip?
Bib and timing chip collection opens at 6:00 am on race day at the event precinct. You can also have your personalised bib posted ahead of the event for a $10 fee.
What are the start times for each distance?
Marathon starts at 7:00 am, Half Marathon at 7:30 am, and both the 14 km and 7 km events start at 8:00 am. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your chosen start time.
Is there an age limit for participants?
Yes. You must be at least 16 years old for the 7 km event and at least 18 years old for the 14 km, half marathon and marathon distances.
Can I walk the course and are there water stations?
Walkers are welcome on any distance, provided you finish before the 1:30 pm cut‑off. Water will be supplied at a minimum of two points along the 7 km loop.
What is the refund or transfer policy?
Refund requests received on or before 31 May 2027 may be approved for a 50 % refund at Bravehearts’ discretion. After 1 June 2027 no refunds are issued. You may transfer your entry to another person until 30 June 2027, pending approval.
