Course Description
The Maribyrnong River Run weaves through the leafy streets of Footscray Park, following an asphalt promenade that hugs the Maribyrnong River. Runners enjoy flat, road‑surface terrain with plenty of river views, historic bridges and parkland scenery. The 5km route is ideal for walkers and families, while the 10km adds a few gentle undulations. The Half Marathon extends the loop for a full 21.1 km, offering a steady, moderate challenge without steep climbs. Drink stations appear roughly every 2.5‑3 km, and finishers receive a medal and personalised certificate.
