Event Details
Course Description
The Outback Ultra courses wind through a private 500‑acre paradise of red‑dirt trails, gum‑lined tracks and sandstone outcrops. Short loops start with the 7 km nocturnal loop (head‑torch required) and the Sunshine 7 km, both featuring gentle hills and bushland. The 18 km and 28 km routes add steeper climbs, fire‑break ridges and open “wallaby highways”. The flagship 56 km challenge tackles 48 hills up to 300 m long, crossing billabongs and rocky sections before looping back to the festival hub. All routes stay within a few kilometres of the start/finish area, allowing easy access to aid stations and camp facilities.
Getting There
The venue is at 1720 Stuart Hwy, Robin Falls NT 0822. From the north, travel ~18 km from Adelaide River, turn right off the railway over‑pass driveway. From the south, come ~94 km from Pine Creek, turn left after the Bridge Creek Rest Area. Day parking is on the left side of the entrance and camping on the right. Arrive early to collect your bib and attend the mandatory briefing.
