About This Event

The Track Outback Race is a self-supported 520km, 9 stage foot race between Alice Springs and Uluru over 10 days. Claimed to be toughest trail run in the world. Each competitor carries backpack with compulsory equipment, food and personal gear. Stages range from 30km to 127km, with final stage to Uluru being 127km - longest stage ever attempted in this kind of race anywhere. Sleep in tents (2 per tent). Open to 18+ with medical certificate and resting ECG required. Runs May 12-21, 2027.
