Event Details
Course Description
The race loops through Neil Hawkins Park, a coastal reserve with paved lake‑front paths, shaded bushland trails and open grassy areas. The 5 km and 10 km routes weave past the park’s ornamental lake, offering gentle undulations and plenty of fresh air. The half marathon adds extra loops, introducing a few modest climbs on the park’s perimeter road for a balanced challenge. All courses are well‑marked, mostly on sealed surfaces, making them suitable for road runners while still showcasing the natural beauty of Joondalup’s waterfront parkland.

The Joondalup Running Festival is held at Neil Hawkins Park in the northern Perth suburb of Joondalup. Parking and public‑transport options are provided on the event website, so be sure to check the official page for details and plan to arrive early to collect your bib and warm up.
