Event Details
Course Description
The course is an out‑and‑back route that follows the picturesque Werribee River through Wyndham Park. Runners and walkers use paved pathways and off‑road tracks, offering a mix of flat sections and short, steep climbs that add a gentle challenge. The riverbank provides plenty of shade and water‑colour scenery, while the route stays entirely off the road, making it safe and enjoyable. Although the course is not wheelchair‑friendly due to the steep bits, it welcomes families, jogger prams on the run events, and prams on the walk events. Timing chips on bibs record your finish time, and a finisher medal awaits every participant.
Getting There
The event is held at Wyndham Park in the suburb of Werribee, about 32 km south‑west of Melbourne's CBD. For parking, public transport options and exact arrival recommendations, please visit the official event website or contact the organisers. Arriving early will give you ample time to collect your bib and tee‑shirt and to warm up before the start.
Weather & What to Pack
November is spring in Victoria, bringing mild to warm days with average highs of 15‑25 °C and occasional light showers. Expect comfortable temperatures, moderate humidity and plenty of sunshine. Dress in breathable, layered clothing, wear a hat and sunscreen, and stay hydrated – a water bottle is recommended even though a water station is provided for the 10 km run.

How do I register for the Wyndham Rotary Fun Run/Walk?
Registration is online only via the Race Roster page (https://raceroster.com/events/2026/118399/wyndham-rotary-fun-run-2026). Choose your distance, pay the entry fee and, if you want a t‑shirt, select your size before the cut‑off date.
What are the start times for each event?
The 5 km Run starts at 9:00 am, the 10 km Run, 4 km Walk and 8 km Walk start at 10:30 am on Sunday 8 November 2026.
When and where can I collect my race bib and t‑shirt?
Pre‑event collection is on Saturday 7 Nov from 10 am‑2 pm at Wyndham Street Piazza in Werribee CBD (next to ‘Wolf on Watton’). On‑day collection is at Wyndham Park before the start of each event.
Are refunds available if I can’t attend?

What gear should I bring on race day?
Wear your allocated race bib, comfortable running or walking shoes, and optional event t‑shirt. Bring a water bottle, sun protection and a light jacket for changing spring weather. Prams are allowed on walk events and jogger prams on run events (start from the back of the wave).
