Course Description
IRONMAN Western Australia is renowned as one of the world's fastest IRONMAN courses, perfectly suited for both first-timers and PB chasers. The day begins with a calm swim in the protected waters of Geographe Bay, offering excellent visibility and minimal swell. Athletes then tackle a pancake-flat bike course through the scenic countryside surrounding Busselton, with minimal elevation and smooth tarmac throughout. The run leg follows an equally flat out-and-back course along the stunning Busselton foreshore, where spectators line the route and the iconic jetty serves as a visual landmark. The course design prioritises athlete performance whilst showcasing the natural beauty of Western Australia's south-west region.

Busselton is located approximately 220km south of Perth, around 2.5 hours' drive via the Forrest Highway. The event village and transition areas are centrally located at Signal Park on the Busselton Foreshore, easily accessible from the town centre. Ample parking is available near the foreshore, though arrive early on race morning. Perth Airport offers direct flights from major Australian cities and Asia, with shuttle services and car hire available for the scenic drive to Busselton.
