Course Description

The race starts with a pool swim inside the WA Athletics Stadium, followed by a closed‑road bike circuit that loops around the stadium precinct, offering flat, fast sections and gentle corners. The run leg exits onto the stadium track before looping back onto the surrounding parkland paths, providing a scenic finish with views of the Swan River. All courses are fully marked, wheelchair‑accessible, and designed to be beginner‑friendly while still offering a satisfying challenge for seasoned athletes.

Getting There

WA Athletics Stadium is located on the Perth City Farm site, just 5 km east of the CBD. Free on‑site parking is limited; there is a paid car park on McIntyre Road (≈$10). Public transport options include Transperth bus routes 31 and 32 to the stadium stop, and a short walk from the Perth railway station. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time to allow for bag drop and transition setup.

Weather & What to Pack

November in Perth is spring. Expect daytime highs around 27 °C and overnight lows near 14 °C, with generally dry conditions and plenty of sunshine. Light, breathable clothing, a hat and sunscreen are recommended for the swim and bike legs, while a light jacket may be useful for the cooler early‑morning start. Stay hydrated and carry a water bottle for the run segment.
