Course Description

The Mystic Hill course begins at Nightingale Bros Alpine Produce, winding through Alpine Park’s rolling foothills before tackling a steady climb to the summit of Mystic Hill. Over 13.5 km you’ll experience a mix of gentle forest tracks, open alpine meadows and rocky sections, with a total vertical gain of 800 m. The route is well‑marked, offering panoramic views of the Victorian Alps and opportunities to spot native wildlife. No aid stations are provided, so carry your own nutrition, and finish back at the start where fresh fruit, water and electrolytes await.

Weather & What to Pack

November is spring in Victoria, bringing mild to warm days with occasional showers. Expect daytime temperatures between 12 °C and 20 °C, cooler breezes at higher elevations, and a chance of rapid weather changes. Dress in layers: a moisture‑wicking base, insulated mid‑layer, and a wind‑proof jacket. Bring a hat, gloves and plenty of water; sunscreen is still essential under the bright alpine sun.
