Weather & What to Pack
Early June in Perth marks the beginning of winter, with crisp mornings perfect for racing. Expect temperatures between 8-12°C at the 7:00 AM start, warming to 16-18°C as the sun rises. You may encounter light drizzle or overcast conditions, though rain is typically intermittent. The riverside location can be breezy, adding a wind chill factor. Dress in layers with a long-sleeved top and lightweight jacket that you can shed if needed. The cooler conditions are ideal for distance running, minimising heat stress. Stay hydrated despite the mild temperatures.
