Weather & What to Pack
May on the Sunshine Coast typically offers pleasant autumn conditions, with mild temperatures ranging from 13-24°C. Mornings can be cool, so consider layers you can remove as you warm up. Expect low humidity and generally dry conditions, though occasional showers are possible. The event's early start times mean cooler temperatures for faster runners. Sun protection is still important as UV levels remain moderate even in autumn. The lakeside setting may bring light breezes. Stay hydrated, particularly if completing the 10km distance.
