Course Description
The Rocky River Run takes place along the banks of the iconic Fitzroy River in Rockhampton's heart, offering a flat, fast course ideal for runners of all abilities. The sealed riverside route winds through some of Rockhampton's most picturesque scenery, with sweeping river views providing a stunning backdrop for every kilometre. The course is suitable for personal bests and first-timers alike, with the flat terrain keeping things accessible and the riverside setting keeping things memorable. With four distances on offer — 21.1km, 10km, 5km and 2km — there's an option for the whole family to get involved in Central Queensland's favourite running event.

Getting There
The event is held along the Fitzroy River in central Rockhampton, easily accessible from the CBD. Parking is available at riverside precincts nearby, though spaces fill quickly — arrive at least 45–60 minutes before your start time. What's included in my entry fee?
All entrants receive a race bib (if registered by 24 April), a timing tag, finisher's medal, event shirt (guaranteed for the first 2,000 entrants, sizes subject to availability), and free fruit and electrolyte drinks at the recovery station.
