Event Details
Course Description
The Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon courses wind through the flat, paved pathways of Mitchell Park and the adjacent Broadwater Parklands. Athletes start with a short, calm lagoon swim (300‑750 m) before transitioning onto smooth road sections that circle the waterfront, offering uninterrupted views of the Broadwater and distant skyline. The bike leg (6.7‑20 km) follows a mostly flat, closed‑road circuit, while the run (2.5‑5 km) stays on well‑maintained paths with gentle turns. Aid stations are positioned at key points, and the finish line is set near the park’s main gathering area, making for a fast, scenic and supportive race environment.
