Course Description

The Hexman race begins at the north end of Victoria Park Lake on Tom Collins Drive. Athletes launch into a 650 m open‑water swim in the lake, then transition to a 30 km bike on sealed park roads that wind around the lake and through the surrounding Goulburn Valley countryside. The final 7 km run follows a paved path past river red‑gum forests, offering gentle rolling terrain and lake views. Swimmers enjoy clear water with minimal currents, while cyclists benefit from well‑maintained asphalt and a few gentle climbs that test endurance without technical difficulty. Runners experience a flat to mildly undulating course that finishes back near the lake’s transition zone, where participants can celebrate with fellow athletes.
