About This Event
The 45th Coral Coast Triathlon hits Yorkeys Knob on 16 August 2026, offering Sprint, Standard and Enticer distances with solo and relay options. Enjoy a coastal swim, scenic bike routes and a beachfront run – ideal for both seasoned triathletes and beginners.
Course Description
Yorkeys Knob’s Coral Coast Triathlon showcases a classic coastal course that starts with a 750‑meter (Sprint) or 1,500‑meter (Standard) open‑water swim in the clear waters of Yorkeys Knob beach. After the swim, athletes transition to a bike leg that winds through the scenic coastal roads and parkland, covering 20 km for the Sprint and 40 km for the Standard distance, with rolling terrain and occasional sea breezes adding challenge. The run finishes on the beachfront promenade and surrounding trails, delivering a 5 km (Sprint) or 10 km (Standard) route that offers stunning ocean views and a supportive crowd. The Enticer distance provides a flexible option for those seeking a custom mix of swim, bike and run. Whether tackling the Sprint or testing endurance on the Standard, participants experience a well‑organised race with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
