About This Event

Experience a coastal multisport festival at Crawford Park, Bargara. With triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, fun runs and junior events, athletes of all ages and abilities can race, train and celebrate together.

Course Description

The festival courses wind through Crawford Park’s flat, paved circuits before spilling onto Bargara’s beachfront promenade. Swimmers launch from the calm ocean inlet for a 1500‑metre open‑water swim, while cyclists enjoy semi‑closed coastal roads with sea breezes. Runners follow a scenic, mostly road route that loops past palm‑lined foreshore and parkland pathways. Junior courses feature short wade sections and easy bike loops, making the day family‑friendly and accessible for all skill levels.

Weather & What to Pack

August is winter in Queensland, bringing mild temperatures of 12‑20°C with low humidity and occasional sea breezes. Expect mostly sunny skies with a chance of light rain. Dress in layers – a long‑sleeve wetsuit for the swim, a lightweight jacket for the bike, and breathable running gear. Stay hydrated, but you won’t need heavy water supplies in the cooler weather.
