Frequently Asked Questions

What distances are available at the Anzac River Run?

There are two distance options: the Good Grocer 8km run/walk and the Mont Property 4km run/walk. Both start at 8:00 AM from Tompkins Park. The minimum age for the 8km is 5 years old on race day.

What's included in the entry fee?

Your entry includes a limited edition 15th anniversary event T-shirt, a BlueChip Timing race bib, free breakfast provided by The Good Grocer, and event drinks (Gatorade and water). There's also a random spot prize draw on the day with a hamper valued at around $100.

Are there awards and prizes?

Yes! The 8km event awards gift vouchers and cash prizes to the top 3 male and female finishers ($100/$75/$50). The 4km event recognises the overall winning male and female, plus junior winners (under 13). All children under 12 in the 4km receive a race day certificate.

What charity does the event support?

The Anzac River Run raises funds for the Bicton-Fremantle sub-branch of the Returned and Services League (RSL) WA, supporting returned service men and women. This community spirit is central to the event, which in 2026 celebrates its milestone 15th year.
