Weather & What to Pack
Late March in Perth typically offers ideal conditions for multisport events, with autumn bringing mild temperatures ranging from 17-26°C. Expect warm, dry weather with lower humidity than summer months, though occasional morning cloud cover may occur before clearing. The Indian Ocean water temperature averages around 22-23°C, comfortable for swimming without wetsuits. Morning starts at 7:05 AM mean cooler conditions initially, warming as the day progresses. Apply sunscreen liberally as UV levels remain high, and stay well hydrated throughout your race. Light crosswinds from the southwest are common along this coastal stretch.
