About This Event
Bay to Bay Running Festival is a scenic running event from Woy Woy to Gosford on the Central Coast. Multiple distances available including kids fun run. Supports Camp Breakaway, a charity providing respite services for adults and children with disabilities.
Course Description
The Bay to Bay Running Festival showcases the stunning Central Coast with point-to-point courses connecting Woy Woy to Gosford. Marathon and half marathon runners start from The Boulevarde in Woy Woy, following scenic waterfront paths along Brisbane Water before finishing at Industree Group Stadium in Gosford. The 12km fun run covers the same picturesque bay-side route with a later start. The 5km course begins at Adcock Park and winds through Gosford's streets to the stadium finish, whilst the 2km kids run features a safe, contained loop around local streets near the stadium. All courses are on sealed roads and paths, making them accessible for runners of all abilities. The flat to gently undulating terrain and coastal views make this an enjoyable winter running experience on the Central Coast.

Weather & What to Pack
Mid-June on the Central Coast typically brings mild winter conditions, with morning temperatures ranging from 8-14°C. Expect cool, crisp starts for early races, warming slightly by mid-morning. The coastal location can bring light winds and occasional showers, though winter is generally the drier season. Early morning fog is possible near the waterfront. Dress in layers you can remove as you warm up - long sleeves and light gloves are recommended for marathon and half marathon starts. The cooler temperatures are ideal for distance running, but don't forget sunscreen as UV levels can still be moderate. Stay hydrated throughout your race despite the cooler conditions.
