Event Details
Course Description
Saturday's courses start and finish at Small Batch Brewery, Mudgee: a Short Course (30km), Medium Course (60km) and Long Course (100km), plus "The Miler" – new for 2026, a roughly 160km route that rolls out an hour ahead of the others at 8am. All four wind through the gently rolling, largely flat gravel roads of the Central Tablelands, taking in vineyards and historic villages such as Gulgong. Saturday is race day, timed with prizes for the top three finishers on the Long, Medium and Short courses. Sunday shifts to recovery mode, with 30km and 60km loops starting and finishing at The Globe Hotel, Rylstone, heading through the Capertee Valley past its ancient rock formations. All courses are fully supported with mechanicals, feed zones and a sweep vehicle.
Getting There
Mary's Mayhem is based around Small Batch Brewery in Mudgee on Saturday, and The Globe Hotel / Rylstone Showgrounds in Rylstone on Sunday, both in the NSW Central Tablelands. Friday-night early registration is held at The Three Tails Brewery in Mudgee. Riders travel between the two towns over the weekend, so plan overnight accommodation in either Mudgee or Rylstone. Check the official event website for parking and detailed directions.
