Course Description

The Garth Prowd Ride launches from the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club on the beachfront. Riders follow the coastal road, passing Noosa Main Beach and the vibrant streets of Noosa Heads before heading inland toward the rolling hills that frame the Noosa hinterland. Along the way you’ll be treated to sweeping ocean views, pockets of native bushland and the relaxed atmosphere of a seaside community. The route stays on sealed roads for most of the distance, with a few short shared‑path sections, making it approachable yet rewarding for cyclists of any ability. The ride is a friendly, non‑competitive group ride, so you can set your own pace and enjoy the camaraderie. You'll pass iconic surf spots along the coast and tackle gentle climbs inland, showcasing Noosa’s lush scenery.

Getting There

The ride starts at the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club on the beachfront of Noosa Heads, Queensland. For detailed directions, parking information and public transport options, please refer to the official event website. We recommend arriving early to allow time for registration and bike set‑up. Check the website for any recommended arrival times and to confirm any on‑site amenities.
