Event Details
Course Description
Swimmers start at the iconic Noosa Main Beach, heading out into the Pacific Ocean on a 1‑kilometre M‑shaped loop that brings them back to the same sandy finish line. The course weaves parallel to the shoreline, offering clear sightlines and the chance to spot the vibrant marine life of the Sunshine Coast. Expect gentle swells and occasional currents, with lifeguards and safety boats positioned throughout. The swim is timed, and participants can pace themselves across the three legs of the ‘M’, each roughly 300‑350 metres. With the sun setting over the horizon, the finish provides a perfect photo‑op and a sense of achievement for swimmers of all abilities.

The swim starts and finishes at Noosa Main Beach in Noosa Heads. Check‑in opens at the Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM on 30 October. For parking and public transport details, please refer to the official event website.
