Course Description

The race starts at a central hub in Victor Harbor and threads through the rugged coastal cliffs, sandy beaches, and dense bushland of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Sprint teams tackle a 40 km loop of easy‑grade trails and a short kayak stretch, while the Short (75 km) and Full (145 km) courses add multiple legs of steep climbs, technical mountain‑bike tracks, and longer paddling sections on the River Murray estuary. Check‑points are marked with orange‑white flags, and teams must drop bikes at designated points before moving on. Night‑time navigation is optional for the longer formats, offering a true ‘human vs wild’ experience.

Getting There

Victor Harbor is about 82 km south of Adelaide via the Southern Expressway (take exit 23). Adelaide Metro bus services run to Victor Harbor – alight at the main bus stop and walk 10 minutes to the start. Arrive at least 30 minutes before registration opens to collect maps and gear.
